Pet care experience
Not only have I had dogs my whole life but I also have years of experience caring for all types of breeds that I have babysat outside of Rover. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover since I was 14 years old! I myself have a 3 year old black lab named Olive! She is a total ray of sunshine and is so gentle with other dogs and people! Besides my own dog, I have worked with "bully" breeds, puppies, giant mastiffs (and other large pups), small lap dogs, very active goofballs, and beloved senior doggies. I have had training with the SW Washington humane society to work with dogs who have been victims of abuse or are scared as well as how to comfort anxious dogs. I also have lots of knowledge and experience caring for and grooming dogs with hair (like shih tzus, chins, ect), as well as bully breed dogs with lots of wrinkles and special groomings, needs! I have my own car which your pup is more than welcome to ride around in if they're up for it. I’m a college student home for the summer so i do not have any other jobs. I'm a very active person so walking/running your dog will be no problem but I also LOVE lil couch potatoes! Additionally, if you have cats I am equipt to care for them as well. I can't wait to meet your fur baby!!

Zoe is an amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly respectful of my home and mindful of my instructions. I trusted her with my home, my cat, and my 6-month-old English Bulldog puppy. I would like to know the temperament of the dog as well as how they are with other dogs. Something that I always request is a typed message (email or printed) of all of the dogs emergency contacts (vets, neighbors, etc) as well as when they get fed/how much, along with any specifications on medications. Something I greatly apprciate in the note also is any specific quirks about your pup, such as if they don't like being touched/pet in a certain area or what their favorite toy is or any other unexpected things about your dog like if they bite/jump when they play or get excited.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks around their neighborhoods because they are most familiar with it but I also live out in the country area where I know a LOT of great places and trails to walk/run dogs with lots of fresh air and greenery! Some fun activities I like to do with your dogs would be to take them to the dog park or on hikes if they're up for it, play outside, go on a walk, binge watch tv together or take naps.
