Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Zharia Corlew. I am originally from Dickson County, TN, but I know reside in Nashville, TN. I recently graduated from Tennessee Tech in December 2021. My focus was biology and my minor was zoology. I had a major role in the Save Us Club at Tech. Which is a club that supports pet adoption and promotes specifically the Putnam County Animal Shelter. I was also a member in the Evergreen Society, Environmental Convservation Club, and the Geoclub. I have had a huge love for animals since a very young age, and I understand the importance of having a family pet. I have been pet sitting since I was 15 years old. I have also been volunteering at numerous animal shelters across Tennessee since I was 17. I have cared for many different sizes and breeds of animals. I have also taken care of all ages of animals and I have taken care of animals with various illnesses. During my childhood I owned a German Shepherd named Dominique for 12 years, and I now have a cat named Moose. I am soon going to start fostering animals from shelters and rescue groups. I carefully listen to the clients instructions, and care for their pets and home as instructed. I always make sure I take your pets out in a safe environment while on walks, playtime, etc. I also clean up any messes made by the pets while under my watch. I will immediately contact if I have questions or concerns.

It is important for me to know if your pets have any allergies or injuries so I can appropriately care for them. I can also administer medications if needed!
A typical day
If you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog to a nearby dog park and/or a fun walking trail! If not I will always play and run with them in their usual walking spots.

I am currently working 3rd shift, but I have plenty of time during the day and the evening to walk, play, and care for your pets. I am flexible with timing, so you can always message me with questions about night care.
