Hello! I am a UC Davis Student, and I miss my pets dearly while I go to school here in beautiful Davis, CA. With so much time in my schedule, I want to meet fellow dog owners and help give your dogs the care they deserve while you are out doing awesome things! I am a Scout and earned my Gold Award in Animal Education, and have owned dogs for 4 years. I have over 7 years of experience in dog walking, training, pet sitting, medication administration, and care for other animals (I won't be afraid to feed or care for your other critters while taking care of your poochies ;) ) I can work with dogs of all types and personalities. I am available for short or long-term pet care and look forward to meeting you and your dog! My schedule is very accommodating, here it is broken down: Weekends: Available! One of Zena's greatest talents is taking care of animals. She has had pets since she was a little girl, and her family calls her "an animal whisperer". She has had many different kinds of animals, and she can take really good care of them regardless of their shape or size. Dogs and cats understand and listen to Zena from the moment they see each other. She is very responsible and loving person. In addition, Zena has an extensive experience in dog-sitting and taking care of people's pets. I believe, Zena woud be a wonderful dog-sitter.

I would like to know any challenges you may have with your dog before having them in my care. This is to make sure I know as much as possible about how to care for your beloved pooch and not put them in a situation where they may be stressed. For example, if your dog hates the sound of skateboards, I need to know this in order to steer clear of skateboarders and protect the well being of your pet. Also, If there are any training or behavioral concerns you may have, I can certainly help in training as long as I am aware and know how you, the owner, respond to these issues so your dog will have consistency in its training.
A typical day
The UC Davis Arboretum, one of my favorite walking destinations, is a great place to go with lots of exciting sights and smells that can provide positive stimulation for your dog! Long walks around your block work too if that's what your pup prefers! I can also take your dog out for a nice jog or bike ride if they are comfortable around bikes! I love spending quality time with dogs of all types, and can play with, exercise, and reinforce positive habits on and off leash.
