All animals are my babies!
Pet care experience
I've always loved animals and had a variety of them in my home ever since I was a child! I've had birds, rodents, fish, reptiles, cats, and dogs. Friends, neighbors, co-workers, and friends-of-friends are always asking me to care for their pets while they're away. I've cared for single pets, multiple pets (including multiple kinds of pets), and both big and small dogs. I love each pet as if they're my own, and they usually get comfortable with me pretty quickly. I understand how important pets are to their humans, and that they are 100% members of the family! I also have experience with elderly and sick pets. The cat I'm fostering has to see the vet frequently and I have to give her a pill every morning. A few years ago my 15-year-old dog got very sick and I cared for him around the clock for several weeks until he passed. I've also rescued a few wild baby birds and kept them fed and warm until I could take them to a wildlife rescue. Whatever situation arises, the animal's well-being is my top priority!
Reviews
Zelda is a compassionate sitter for my kind but anxious and needy kitty and has continuously gone above and beyond to take care of her when I’m overseas. From brushing her hair, to cuddles, to playing with her for exercise, she can be trusted with your precious pet. I would recommend her services to anyone and so lucky I found her! :)
Zelda is an amazing persitter. She has taken care of my cat (Moon) many times and she has gone above and beyond any expectations. She not only made sure that Moon was well fed but also loved and healthy (including surprise runs to the vet!!!). She cares very much about her pets and they feel incredibly comfortable around her. Many of my friends also use her services and are very please with them.
Zelda did a great job taking care of my cat. She made sure she had food and water and would spend alittle extra time giving my cat affection for me while I was away. She listened to all my instructions and was prompt when she came to my home. I will definitely use her again anytime I need a pet sitter!
Zelda has looked after my cats before. She was timely to feeding, watering, and scooping poop. Her sweet demeanor allowed her to give my skittish and shy cats attention, which was a great piece of mind while I was away!

I will care for your pets in whatever way you say is best! If you want your dog crated when I leave, I will do so. If you want me to let your cat outside/inside, I will do so. The more information you can give me ahead of time, the more ideal my visit will be! Of course if an unforeseen special situation/need arises, I will handle it as best I can and let you know. I will always do what's best for your pet!
Information Zelda J. would like to know about your pet
The more info I have about your pet, the better! If I know upfront that they have dietary restrictions, medication, behavioral quirks, anxiety, etc, the less I'll have to contact you while you're away. If they recognize specific words or gestures, that is also super helpful. For doggos in particular it's very important for me to know ahead of time how they behave on a leash so I can ensure that I can handle them. It's also nice to know how they react to strangers, other dogs/animals, vehicles, and loud/sudden noises so I can steer clear of those things if needed.
A typical day
I love walking and sight-seeing just as much as the doggos do! I also enjoy parks and nice neighborhoods equally. My knees won't let me run, but I can play fetch and tug-of-war! I also love petting and cuddling with them if they need that kind of attention.

I am a self-employed freelance musician, so I have a lot of control over my schedule. I rarely have jobs that last more than a few hours at a time (no 8-hour days!) This makes it very easy for me to schedule visits with your pets.
