Pet care experience
Was trained by the Southern Oregon Human Society; in a program to take at risk dogs and turn them around into adoptable trained best friends. (I live on and operate a horse farm, horses boarding also available) I love dogs and have grown up with them most my life. I know the proper care and attention they need and sometimes might spoil my own pup a little too much. I’ve got many references as to my pet ownership/pet sitting and would love to share. I’ve owned 2 Weimaraner's, 2 Australian Shepherds and 2 pits have grown up with rotties,labs and huskys and many small dog breeds. I am not beginner with massive dogs and love the little ones. Just let me know what you need and we can make it happen. All prices negotiable just let me know what you can afford and I will try and work with you.

My husband and I were nervous about leaving our 8 month old blue heeler with a dog sitter because we had never left him with anyone before. Zakk was a very soft spoken easy going dog sitter that our energetic blue heeler pup took to right away. Zakk met us a local dog park, and to our surprise, Jax hopped right into his car to go spend the day with him. Zakk and his dog played with Jax and him on a hike. When we picked Jax up at the end of the day he was exhausted and happy.
We have been using Zakk for a few years and he is just amazing. Our dogs adore him and he does a great job keeping everything in order while we are away. He helped train our dogs when they were puppy’s and they listen and behave better than I could have hoped for. Thank you Zakk!!
We have used Zakk a couple of times, now. The first time he spent a few days at our home with our dogs. Yesterday, we were gone for an extended time, and he came and walked the girls for us. He has been very responsive and prompt. It was too smoky the last stay for him to get out much with the dogs, but he sent lots of pictures of them just hanging out. Yesterday he sent a picture of them up on the ditch, having a nice walk. We will definitely use him again in the future.
Zakk was a wonderful help. He did an amazing job with my dog. He helped me train him and taught me how to continue to do so. I am forever grateful for his assistance. My dog had a great time playing and hiking with Zakk. I recommend him highly.

I have a fenced yard, an indoor horse arena, plenty of fields, and neighbor orchards. Plenty of horses as the property is a horse boarding and breeding facility. We also have goats.

Any special needs. For boarders please be honest about your dogs abilities to go outside to potty. As I live on a farm there will be more than ample outside time for potty, if I find that the dog is truly not trained after being told it was, I will request for you to pick up your dog. Just be honest. I have no issues helping potty train the dogs. Just be honest.
A typical day
We often go to the dog park, white rabbit trail, the lake or a hike around town. I have a 11 acre horse facility that has an indoor arena to play in on the rainy days.

Availability
Currently a full time student with classes Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, care will be provided by experienced staff of the farm I live on and operate if you are boarding. If you are not boarding I am not taking clients Tuesdays and Thursdays, thank you.
