Pet care experience
Back and excited to dog- and cat-sit once again! 🐾 See my schedule below! I love spending time with pets of all ages, types, and sizes! Much of my experience with this wide variety of pets and pet owners is thanks to my experience at a humane society and client care at a veterinary hospital. I have encountered and cared for numerous breeds and temperaments of dogs, as well as cats and small animals — so I have no problem around non-canine friends. I believe it's important to give each animal the patient, individualized care it needs, because each pet is unique, just like their owner. I have lived with and taken care of pets since I was 7 years old, from administering medication to older dogs to caring for cats and kittens to handling anxious or leash-aggressive dogs. Working with animals is one of my passions. When I spend time with your pet, safety and comfort take priority, closely followed by having a great time! I'd love to extend my animal care experience to you and meet your furry friend(s).

Zaji is always incredibly attentive and sweet to our special pup! She keeps our house in perfect condition and is always willing to help with mail, trash, etc. Our pup adores her. She is our first choice whenever we need someone to stay with our dog.

Zaji kept my house in perfect order while i was away for a long weekend. She took great care of my cat and sent me cute pictures that eased my mind while i was away. I would recommend Zaji for house/pet sitting and would definitely rebook with her!
Zaji was a great dog sitter and house sitter! We can back after five days to calm and tired pups, clean house and thriving plants! Would definitely book with Zaji again!

I love knowing what sorts of things the dog likes to do. How often do they like to play (if at all)? How long are they used to being on their own in the house? Do they like longer or shorter walks? Any triggers I should be aware of? Of course, my questions will always be particular to the pets and their owners, so they’ll vary a little!
A typical day
I like to know what the owner and dog's typical routine is before I go on a walk, and do my best to stick to what the pet is used to (quick walks around the block, slower-paced walks, a journey to the park, fetch...). The more things a dog is familiar with, the more comfortable they are, and the more comfortable a dog is, the happier they can be!

I work full-time during the week (10a-7p) and am happy to care for your kitty and/or doggie. Please feel free to reach out and we can discuss scheduling more closely! I love to have at least 5-7 days’ notice for any booking. :)
