I DO NOT recommend this sitter to anyone who loves their animals and wishes for them to be cared for while you are away. We used her for 5 days and had to end our trip early due to the lack of care Zahara gave our animals. We paid for sitting, she barely did the check ins. Multiple times she stayed for only 3 minutes to feed them. Our dogs are fed dry and wet food, it takes longer than that to mix the food in each bowl. They were also supposed to be given medicine in the morning, which could not have been done in 3 minutes. She was rude throughout the entire stay, was more concerned about other things she had going on and wasn’t communicating when she was planning on stopping by. I had to follow up at 8:30 pm and 10:30 am to see when she would be stopping by to feed my puppies. I saw all visits through the ring doorbell and was able to drop in on some visits through Alexa, only to hear her say one of my dogs didn’t eat the day before because she said my other dog ate her food, and “she didn’t have time for this shit”. Zahara is rude, unprofessional, and clearly not a lover of animals. My babies were super stressed out when we got home and haven’t left my side since. She got the feeding schedule all out of whack, didn’t close the doggy door at night and we have a huge coyote population, then proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t because she had other things going on and couldn’t make time. I urge you not to use her if you love your animals. If I didn’t have the technology available, I would have been none he wiser. She did spend the night one night, left my bed unmade and drank liquor and didn’t clean up after herself at all. If she is “sitting” she should have been available 24 hours a day. I just requested a few hours each day to give them love and company. I got 3 minutes of her time multiple times a day. She blatantly lied to me multiple times texting me and telling me she would be hanging around until lunch time (at 9:30 am) only to leave 5 minutes after that text. She is HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE HER!!!

If you're looking for someone who will be affectionate and cuddly with an affectionate and cuddly dog, Zahra is the one. I'm so grateful for the attention she's paid my 60-pound lab-pit girl. Add to that that Zahra doesn't have a pet of her own (which is ideal for my dog), I'm happy to bring her back again and again.
