Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family over the last few years. They’ve relied on me to take them out for walks, feed them and make sure they’re given lots of love.

Zahira’s great with animals. She’s got a huge soft spot for animals so anytime a pet is around, she spends so much time playing with them. She’s very social and kind so communicating with her is always a pleasure. Her work and personality with animals is always great. I have nothing bad to say!

I plan to offer services in the owners home and walks. I make sure to keep a close eye on the pets I take care of. One golden retriever I’ve cared for was particularly hyper, so caring for her a few times has helped me become better in that area. I can handle animals while out in public and I can crate if need be.
Information Zahira H. would like to know about your pet
Some of the most important things I need to know is how well the dog does with other animals, if they’re big it’s especially important to know how they do with small pets. Are they leash trained? Does being out in public areas that are busy a stressor? Any medical issues I should know about? (Dogs get arthritis too!). And anything else an owner thinks I should know. It’s better to know too much than to not know enough!
A typical day
A typical day will involve a good amount of being outdoors, especially for hyper dogs. There’s a huge park by where I live and it’s good to take the pets out for fresh air. It’s important to stimulate dogs mentally too, so if the owner hasn’t already, I’d like to implement some mental games for the dogs as well.

Availability
I’m currently working full time but my last day is next Friday. I don’t go back to school until the end of August, so this is to make some extra money for the semester. Once next week ends, I’ll be free all day.
