What I love most about dogs is just how unique they are! Each pup has such an amazing and interesting personality, and no two are alike from one another. Getting to know them and find out just what makes them who they truly are is such an amazing experience, so being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me! I love putting a smile on a dog’s face, and I love that I can give back to the community at the same time (I volunteer at the Mansell Humane Society), providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away from their best friend. That’s why I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! I recently lost my Chow Chow that I’d been with for a little under 13 years, so getting more face time with loving pups is a must for me! But my Chow was only one small part of my experience taking care of dogs. I’ve been a walker and sitter for quite some time now, which included several different clients. It’s been a great experience taking care of those pups, and I’m happy to be taking on new clients now. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about the individual traits and behaviors of their dog. Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is simply the best way to make every stay as good as can be! I like to get as much information about you and your pup before the stay begins, so I can get a clear picture of your care expectations and what makes your pup tick. That way, I can start thinking about how to make your pup’s dreams come true when they’re with me! During the stay, I provide tons of regular updates with lots of pictures of us having fun together. I can take detailed notes on anything you need to be informed of, and am always happy to accommodate special requests.
