Board your pup in a loving home, not a kennel... Vacation with peace of mind knowing your pooch will be safe-and-sound…and perhaps a bit overly loved, with me and my family. We specialize in free-range petsitting; no crates, cages, or kennels. There’s always lots of playing, snacking, and sunbathing, plus we go for daily urban hikes/walks around local parks and trails. OUR PLACE: Our home is super dog-friendly, there’s a nice-size patio and yard, which is safely enclosed with a 6-foot fence all the way around the property. We have doggy door access so your pooch can be inside or outside whenever they please, fits up to a 40 pound pup, if your dog is too large to fit through it I am here all day to let them in and out whenever they want. We have two boys, 11 and 6, that love animals as much as we do and snuggling is strongly encouraged here, guest pups are perfectly welcome to sleep on the beds if they’re so inclined. EXPERIENCE/SUPERVISION: Both of us grew up with dogs and have pet-sitting experience from friends, family, neighbors, and my wife's grooming clients. My wife, Amber, has over 20 years in the industry as a professional pet stylist with training and certifications in many different subjects including first-aid, pet behavior, and basic dog training. Together we have fostered various breeds, including elderly dogs, pups just coming out of surgery, and those with health issues. I welcome detailed care instructions and/or special needs cases. I am a stay at home dad so I'm here most of the time, and if I have to step out, Amber will usually be on hand to dog-sit. Plus, your pup will have constant company with resident canines Trey (40-lb male Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, loves to play) and Bubba (16 year old male chihuahua, loves to sleep).
