I've always loved being around animals since I was very small. People often try to convince me their dog is harmless and not to be afraid, unaware that I'm already working out a way to pet and love on them. I've never met a dog I didn't like or at least respect. I've done a fair amount of research on dog behavior; with humans, other dogs, and with other animals in general. I can't say I have any academic expertise, but I am certainly comfortable and attentive when spending time with and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have a dog, Zeus, and he is the best companion I could ask for. He also loves meeting and playing with other dogs, so even if your furry friend isn't particularly social, Zeus will likely bring their charm right out!
