Pet care experience
I’m a college student looking to spend a little extra time with dogs when I can! Back home (in Rochester) I have a 9 year old schnauzer who I miss VERY MUCH! I’ve cared for him since his birth, and have since grown to love dogs of all ages and sizes. I can promise you, your dog or dogs will receive the same love, attention, and priority as if they were my own. I’m more than comfortable with both puppies and older dogs, as well as small and large breeds. I have zero allergies, and pet hair is something I’ve become relatively used to. I’m in great shape, and love running, so if your dogs enjoy a run I’ll make sure they get their exercise! I look forward to hanging out with your pets and can’t wait to give them all the attention and care they deserve!

Zach has dog-sat for my two Yorkies, Charlie and Yoko, on numerous occasions. When I come home they’re always well fed and exercised, and he follows any of my specifications to a tee. I also have a larger basset hound named Chester, who Zach has done drop-in visits for in recent months. Chester has a hearing disability as he is a bit older, but he and Zach have developed a close relationship and he’s always excited when his favorite dog-sitter shows up. Overall Zach is a delight to work with, and his reliability and genuine compassion for my pets have made him my go-to caregiver when I’m away from home.

A few basic facts I’d like to know prior to spending time with your dog would be if they have any allergies, any health concerns, or notable behavioral characteristics that will affect how I interact with them. Also if your dog has any favorite treats, I’d be happy to supply some goodies for them.
A typical day
I like taking dogs to Chester Bowl, Enger Park, and Leif-Erickson Park! Walking on the trails, playing fetch/frisbee, going for runs, or just taking in the scenery, I’m sure your dog will have a good time.
