I recently moved to Chicago for grad school from rural Indiana, where I lived on a farm. I have many years’ experience with all types of animals, including horses and cats. Dogs are most special to me, though. I have taken a dog through puppy school. Growing up, we had a whippet and a pug, and more recently two Aussies, one of which is an unspayed puppy that me and my sister (who is studying animal science at Purdue, and whom I can ask any health-related questions) intend to breed. Their names are Mae and Mollie, and I miss them dearly. I love dogs, and have cared for puppies, adults, and elderly. I am calm in a crisis, but able to resolve conflicts.
