Pet care experience
I believe pets are members of your family and should be treated as such. My promise to you is to treat yours with the same gentle care and attentiveness that any person would want to be treated with. I have experience with pets for over 20 years and have had my current rescue dog, Lady, for 8 years. Living in Orange County provides the opportunity to be outdoors in an active setting with dogs, which I love. I should also note that have also owned and cared for many cats over the years and love them just as much :) My schedule is very flexible and can be designed to tailor needs best suited to your pet. I consider myself very detail oriented in addition to be outgoing and playful with animals. I hope to meet the furry member of your family and give them a positive and happy experience!

Reliable, really caring for Enzo.
Zach takes wonderful care of my two dogs, an Alaskan Husky and a Havanese, on a daily basis. I work long hours, and having him come in once a day to take care of them when I can't be there has been a lifesaver. My husky is a bit of a handful, and Zach makes sure she gets plenty of exercise. He's even come on weekends when I'm too busy to take her out for a hike and I can see what an amazing connection he has with animals. He's responsible and dependable, and I always return home to happy, tail-wagging pups!

Most important is to be aware of any medications, allergies, or conditions your animal has. My own dog is a rescue, so I know that some animals may need extra or special attention. Additionally, it is crucial to know how they are with other animals or people that we might encounter on a walk. It is extremely important that your dog is in safe situations at all times.
A typical day
Depending on the dog, I like to provide active experiences. I love to take dogs on longer hikes wherever possible but will also go on lengthily neighborhood walks. What's most important is that it is the right walk - and care - for your dog. Certain dogs need to release a good amount of energy, so I am comfortable making sure they get a solid run in to alleviate that. If they are playful and have a specific routine or toy, I am will make sure they get to do that! I can also introduce them to my dog Lady, but that is not a necessity. This is only something that would happen if you are comfortable and would require an initial meet and greet.
