I'm a professional who works remotely from home. I grew up with dogs - German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels. I rescued a Springer Spaniel/Lab mix who I loved until he died in my arms. I raised and trained a Papillon from when he was 8-weeks old; he current lives in FL with my parents. I recently had a mini-Aussie that I trained from a young age, who unfortunately no longer lives with me. I miss having a dog to love on and care for. I'd get my own, but I may have to start travelling for work again (I may not). I'd like to get a dog again someday, but until then I thought I could get my dog love fix by loving on your fur baby. A little extra money is always nice, but the main reason I'm trying Rover out is because I miss loving on and caring for dogs.
