Pet care experience
Caring for pets is my passion! I've cared for dogs in owner's homes for a little over a decade, and I have a soft spot for larger dogs such as Golden Retrievers, Great Danes and Huskies. I love taking dogs for long walks and I live right in the heart of Old Ballard. 10 years of dog care experience Dog Walking/Jogging/Hiking Good with Allergies/Special Needs Why I love dog sitting: I have loved dogs and other animals since I was an infant. Nothing makes me happier than caring for pets and seeing their eyes light up after a good walk or play session. My experience administering medication: My parent's dog has had allergy and medical issues for as long as I can remember. I have a lot of experience caring for animals with special medical needs, and I am happy to do what is required to keep the pets happy and healthy.

Zac was absolutely wonderful - dependable, reliable and great with our dog New Year. During our vacation, we got frequent updates including photos and videos of New Year going for walks and playing with Abbie, Zac's own dog. It is always a nerve-wracking thing to leave your dog in the care of someone else but I have absolutely no worries when I leave New Year with Zac. I know she's in great hands and that kind of peace of mind is everything when you are traveling.
Zac was friendly, punctual, easy to coordinate with and very diligent with making sure he understood Vesper’s needs. A very happy doggo who will be excited to see him again.
We always leave our girl with Zac and Kyla . They take the best care of Pearl and Pearl loves them and Abbie !
Zac was a wonderful host for my dog, Finn. He was great with communication and provided daily updates with pics and videos. This was my first time leaving Finn since adopting him and it was nice to know he was in good hands! Would absolutely use Zac again for future travel.

It is always nice to know what dietary and exercise routines the dog is used to. I also like to have a general idea of what there favorite 2-3 activities are so I can help them with separation anxiety and make their experience as enjoyable as possible.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I would be happy to spend as much or as little time as the owner likes. I find that my best experiences have been when I spend the majority of the day with the pets, but some owners want a bit less of a hands-on approach, and I am happy to adapt. Extra house-sitting services I have a reputation for being extremely clean and organized. I am happy to do side tasks for owners upon request.
