Pet care experience
Throughout my life I've had a chocolate lab, Australian shepherd, and two Newfies. I've taken care of puppies as well as seniors who require special needs and am familiar caring for dogs with anxiety and trauma. My place is dubbed as the dog hotel as I frequently care for many friends' dogs throughout the year! I don't have a dog of my own so there will be no issue if your dog isnt a big socializer. I also live four blocks away from dog beach!

I am very patient and slow when interacting with new dogs so they can understand I am not a threat to them. I love physical interaction and am constantly showering affection on whichever pup is with me. There is nothing in my apartment that is hazardous so I typically let dogs roam free inside unless otherwise specified from the owner. I also love taking them down to dog beach to play as long as that is an acceptable environment for them from the owner.

Important things to know about your dog are the following: 1) Are they comfortable around other dogs? 2) Are there behaviours or triggering situations that are hazardous for you dog or others? 3) Are you comfortable with them being off leash at dog beach or would you rather have them on leash? 4) Things they don't like, for instance, pets in certain places, touching paws, being around their food while eating, etc. 5) And the usual, feeding schedule, medications, etc. I want to make sure you pup is safe and happy!
A typical day
I typically take them to dog beach down the street if your dog is comfortable with that and do long walks around ocean beach. At home we are undergoing constant pets, practicing good behaviours and commands and playing with all the toys.
