Yvette is gentle and compassionate with every dog she encounters. They naturally have an affinity for her as she treats each one as though they are her own. I have worked in the veterinary setting with Yvette for 6 months and have witnessed her being mature, responsible, understanding, and above all, loving. She has experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I definitely trust her to pet sit my dog and I highly ...

Yvette was our wonderful and gracious dog walker for over a year for our large-breed 4 year old Rhodesian Ridge girl, Uma. She was so attentive and caring to Uma, always going the extra mile to give Uma the exercise and attention she so very much craves. Yvette was always on time and extremely responsible; we never had to worry one bit. We miss her so much and hope that we have another opportunity in ...

I grew up with large breed dogs as my best friends. Dogs add so much value to my life and the lives of their family and I take great pride in taking care of their needs to the best of my ability. I have worked as a dog walker, dog boarding assistant and veterinary assistant. Thus, I have experience working with a variety of dog breeds, sizes and ages. I lead an active lifestyle which ...

What Yvette would like to know about your dog

Before sitting a dog I would like to know if there is anything he/she is allergic to so I know to avoid certain treats. It is also very important to know if the dog is protective of whom they are with and if they display aggression toward strangers or dogs. This is for the dog, mine and the public's safety. I would like to know if the dog has fear of certain things like loud noise, large dogs, sirens etc. Knowing a basic health history is also important for me so I know if there is anything I have to be extra careful about. I'd like to know what the dog really likes as far as activities and what it takes to earn his/her trust.
