I am a college student at UCSD majoring in Psychology with the focus of Human and Animal behavior. I've always been around pets for over 10 years; my first pets were turtles and a few years later I look after my pet dog since he was a puppy; seven year old miniature poodle. I even got the chance to look after two pet snakes. It wasn't until I moved down to San Diego for college, I adopted another dog, Hera, and she's been with me for almost a year. In the future I plan to be able to care for a pet tortoise. My favorite place in the entire world is the Zoo. I love all animals and I'm passionate in getting to know them. I love all animals and is passionate in learning about and getting to know these animals. That is why I've signed up to be a pet sitter. I have a pet dog myself so your furry friend will not get lonely. My dog is a Siberian Husky, Hera, and she's extremely friendly, loves to play, and usually is the one being picked on so no worries of your dog being bullied. Those use to smaller dogs might be scared of her size but she knows when to back off and leave the other dog alone if she senses that they're not comfortable (I've seen it happen at dog parks). Unfortunately, my dog is not spayed so I will not be taking in any dogs that are not neutered (intact males). I will be able to walk your dog in periods of 2-4 hours and will have endless play time because of Hera. I will also be more than happy to train your dog any new tricks that you'd want your dog to learn. I can ensure that your dog will have an amazing time away from home. Not only do you get time away from your dog (sometimes you just need a break), your furry friend also gets a play date with the friendliest dog in the world. I do require vet documents showing that all pets are current on all their vaccinations and that your pet is on flea & tick preventative. Both of these requirements ensure a safe and healthy environment for me and my pet.
