Baltimore City, Maryland Resident and Dog owner 1 x Chihuahua (Female / 4 years old) Roxy 1 x Toy Doberman (Male / 5 years old) Rocky 1 x Pit Bull (Female / 2 years old) Ramya Being the owner of 3 dogs while working full-time and going to school full-time always leaves me with little time to myself and almost no room for fun activities outside of hanging with my dogs. My dogs and I share a close bond, so much that they have even adapted to my crazy schedule and sleep schedule. We are a tight-knit bunch, but I still want that “me time” that is very much so needed – I was just too skeptical about leaving my dogs with anyone, until I was referred to Yakima Rich by a close friend. I initiated the conversation with Yakima detailing my schedule and what I was looking for. She replied within 30 minutes, gave me a rundown of what a typical day would be like watching my buddies and even listed a few dog parks in the area that I didn’t even know about. Yakima’s professional demeanor was very present, even in this brief exchange. I felt comfortable and asked if we could do a trial period, starting with her meeting my dogs, (Rocky, Roxy, and Ramya). We arranged a date to meet during the week of my Spring Break 2017. I know that my dogs can be a little much outside of their home with people, so I asked if she felt comfortable stopping by my house with the dogs and myself in the yard. I must say that when my dogs met her, they were a little standoff-ish, but Yakima talked to them and presented herself to be open and welcoming. Ramya, took to her instantly and Rocky as well. Roxy followed suit and it was tough for me to get the dogs in the house after they warmed up to her. Since then, Yakima has been on regular visits to pick up my dogs and take them for walks, play dates, and the such – freeing me up to do what I like and love to do with no worries on my mind about my buddies. Yakima’s attitude is a wonderful mix of professionalism, appreciation, and a sincere love for animals. She is very patient and very attentive. What I like about her most is that she monitors my dogs and reports everything to me and even keeps a log of day to day activities. It’s a breeze and ease having Yakima as a dog walker and sitter. I recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a dog sitter or walker that wants peace of mind and knowing that their furry little loved ones are being treated properly. Yakima is a 10/10 for me and I’m sure she will be for anyone else that employs her services. *Yakima has been with my dogs for 3 months as of July 11, 2017.
