Hi! My name is XiaoXiao and I am a 4th year veterinary student at the Ohio State University, originally from NYC. Please know, starting 4/29/19, I will be beginning clinical rotations which will heavily impact my schedule. Moving forward, I will be evaluating my Rover availability on a case-by-case basis—thank you for understanding :). During the summer of 2018 I externed at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, in the Surgery Department, and externed in the Internal Medicine Department the summer before. My animal experience includes but is not limited to: 1. Externing at one of the best small-animal veterinary hospitals in NYC for over 6 years. 2. Volunteering for a few months at the Franklin County Dog Shelter, working with dogs of various ages and temperaments on behavioral training, low-stress handling, and environmental enrichment. 3. Volunteering at OSU's animal hospital, assisting with emergency medicine and critical care. 4. Caring for the pets of friends and family in both Ohio and NYC. I am committed to giving your pet the best care I can, whether that be a long walk, interactive play, or administering prescribed meds to keep your animal happy and healthy. I can also help you provide your pet with some behavioral training to help make sure your home is a harmonious one. Rest assured, your pet is in good hands, and I'm here to make your life and theirs as seamless and worry-free as possible!

XiaoXiao and I are classmates in veterinary school and most recently, roommates. I trust her to take care of my pets, our apartment, and even myself on occasion! She is responsible, attentive, and very caring. XiaoXiao would be an excellent dog caregiver.
Xiao Xiao is an outstanding friend and a bright veterinary student. She is excellent around all animals and is comfortable with all breeds and sizes. She exudes patience, which I feel is very important when dealing with dogs, and has experience in handling different temperaments and personalities that dogs offer. Overall, I greatly recommend her as a responsible pet owner and wonderful caregiver.
Xiaoxiao is your dream pet care giver. She is as a natural animal lover and a wonderful, responsible human being. Xiaoxiao has taken care of my 2 cats, and granted, cats require less attention than dogs, but I know when I am away my cats are in loving, expert hands. By expert I am referring to Xiaoxiao's veterinary training. If your pet needs drops, or shots, or pills, Xiaoxiao is capable and gentle. I recommend her highly, without reservation.
Xiao Xiao has watched my two dogs many times while we have traveled throughout the years. She is extremely trust worthy which is very important when you have someone staying in your home and taking care of your precious pets. The pups love her. She has taken them on long walks above what was asked of her. My one pup is extremely anxious and Xiao Xiao is able to keep her calm and eating while we are away. My two can also be very Feisty and Xiao Xiao is able to handle the two of them with confidence and ease. She is extremely dependable and reliable. She was also great with communicating to me daily how the pups were doing and sending photos. I highly recommend Xiao Xiao and another huge plus is that she is in Vet school too!
