I like people; dogs even more!
Pet care experience
I cared for my poodle, Tilly, for 13 years, and have worked as a dog walker/dog sitter since my early teens. When traveling I often left my own dog with a dogsitter so I understand the importance of finding someone you trust. I'm new to Rover but have extensive experience sitting a range of pets. While I was previously based in Washington DC, repeat clients included an elderly weimaraner, a rambunctious pug puppy, a 90lb lab, and two daschunds—so I'm comfortable with a broad range of pup personalities and needs. I am attentive and thoughtful, and as a permanent teleworker, am flexible enough to accommodate any special routines. As a sports and outdoors enthusiast, I welcome the opportunity to take longer hikes or runs. (And I lift weights, so am confident handling larger dogs!) I look forward to meeting your companion(s)!
Reviews
Excellent as always.
Excellent as always
We will definitely contact her to sitter Luke again. We love how she took care of our little puppy. She kept me updated with pictures of Luke.
Great sitter! Kept me updated on our pet. Would definitely use again!

I am happy to visit your pet in your home or house-sit in order to keep them company overnight. I am attentive to which areas are pet-allowed and which are off-limits, and dedicated to providing a calming presence while their main humans are away.
Information Xaviera S. would like to know about your pet
I'll want to know about any fears or anxiety your dog has, whether it be in encountering other dogs or particular noises that set them off. Other elements to discuss include whether your dog is possessive of certain toys or objects, whether they are likely to try to escape through and open front door, and your go-to vet's information—hopefully this will never become necessary, but I like to be equipped to care for your pet in any and all scenarios.
A typical day
Depending on how much energy your dog has, I love taking looong walks and exploring new parts of the city—I moved to Philly during winter and haven't been outside as much as I would like! I'm also an avid participant in any games of fetch or tug-o-war.

I work full-time but am permanently remote. I enjoy enough scheduling flexibility to accommodate regular walk and/or feeding schedules. I prefer to house-sit for longer periods but am open to individual walks or visits.
