Long term, reliable pet care

Pet care experience

My family and I would love to take care of your furry family members while you are away. We includes me; Winter, a stay at home mom who has grown up always having pets in the house, my husband; Shane and our two sons; who love to help take care of all types of pets. I have been caring for dogs through the Rover.com site since 2013. Thank you for considering my family to take care of yours. About this sitter: If you are going out of town or will be gone the whole day I can look after your furry (feathered, scaly) family while you are away. You can bring them to my house or if you live within walking distance of me I can care for them in your home. My hours are very flexible to meet your needs (as early as 7am, as late as 11pm) and I can accept last-minute/late notice bookings. I have owned and/or cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, rats, mice, turtles, snakes, frogs, lizards, amphibians, birds and chickens. I will do everything in my power to help keep your families schedule as though you never left. I have taken care of all kinds of dogs, from Poma-Poo to German Shepard, Papillon to Great Dane, from very old to just weaned. Meet my pets We have 4 dogs: Maggie: born in 2013, she loves having friends over to play. Xena: born in 2016, she is always up to playing with new friends. Lydia: born in 2019, she is shy to warm up but is a loyal friend. Karma: born in 2020, she is always excited to meet new friends. About my yard We have a big back yard that is mostly fence in and a nice big unfenced front yard. We use a tie-out or leash when outside with dogs. We don't leave dogs outside without supervision. If your dog needs to go outside we will be out there with them playing, relaxing and enjoying the weather or even dreading the rain together. Experience administering medication? Yes, as long as it is not a shot and you can share with me the method that you use at home to get them to take their meds.

We have a huge backyard but use a tie out for quick potty breaks. No dogs are ever outside unsupervised. I keep baby gates up on doorways to ensure safety and can crate dogs when not supervised indoors if needed. I feed all dogs in crates or gated apart from each other.

Information Winter T. would like to know about your pet

If you would like to schedule grooming or a bath please let me know before booking. Is your dog spayed/neutered? House trained? Do they ever try to escape? What is their energy level like? Is there any special commands that your dog knows? What is your typical daily routine? I don't have any breed preferences at all just as long as they are not large dogs. I can not accommodate puppies who may be over 40lbs when full grown or whose breed mixes may lead them to be over 40lbs when full grown.

A typical day

Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We prefer for our guests to sleep how they would at home. If you use a crate at home, please bring it. They are allowed to sleep on the couch or if they insist on sleeping in the bedroom that isn't a problem either. Time I'll spend with your dog: I will spend pretty much all day with your dog.
