Pet care experience
Growing up with two cats as well as volunteering at the Central Vermont Humane Society, I learned how to best care for four-legged friends. In high school and college I dog sat/walked for individuals in the community. I have experience giving cats medication, topical ointments, and adhering to a medically-necessitated diet. I currently have two cats, who are the most special little creatures in my life. They have taught me a lot about how to tune-in to what animals need at any given moment. I’m looking forward to taking care of your furry friends.

Winter watched my cats recently and I couldn't be happier! She has cats herself so she knew exactly how to care for them and went above and beyond. She kept me updated with how they were doing and sent pics everyday as well. She cared for them as her own. I will be asking her to cat sit again!
Winter is a compassionate and loving toward all animals, especially cats. She is thoughtful, caring, and takes the time to notice the little details about animals. For example, she is very keen when an animal changes its behavior, or is acting out of the ordinary. I would trust Winter to take care of any animal. I can tell in the pictures she sends that my animals are always very happy to be around her!

A typical day
I love to go for long walks with dogs, either around the neighborhood or in a park where they can get out their zoomies. I also like to help dogs learn new tricks with treats, if that is something their stomachs and temperament can allow.

Availability
I am currently working a hybrid job, with some time in the community and some time at home. I will have plenty of time during the day to pop over and do a check-in with your pet. My work day finishes at 5:00, so I also have plenty of time to do evening check-ins. Weekends are fairly open in terms of scheduling.
