Pet care experience
I am a 32 year old from Columbus, Ohio. I have just moved to Burlington for work as a manager for a non-profit. I work in a hybrid set up so I may need to go into the office from time to time, so ideal sits for me would be weekends or animals that can be left alone for 4-6 hours at a time during the week. I love animals and have had all sorts of pets growing up, ranging from snakes and lizards, to cats dogs and birds! I even have a bit of equestrian care experience. I also used to do a good bit of animal fostering since I'm never in one place for too long, but also look after my parents and brother's cats and dogs while they go on vacations. I've always been around animals and take very good care of them showing them all the love, hopefully I'll be able to take care of yours soon!

I won't be looking after pets in my home. At the clients home I will look after the pets however the client instructs, making sure to keep everything clean, tidy and fun for the pets!

Ahead of time I would like to know how your dog gets along with other dogs, be it on walks or at dog parks. If they have any other triggers while walking that make them panic or anxious, such as motor bikes, mailmen, other dogs, etc... so I can make sure to avoid them on walks. If the dog needs any medication or special treatment, such as help going up and down stairs, no running or jumping, things like that.
A typical day
I love playing with the dogs I watch, be that tug of war, running around the yard or dog park, throwing the frisbee or whatever the dog really likes! You let me know how your dog likes to play and I'll make sure to keep them entertained. I enjoy taking dogs on walks down trails or to parks. I am comfortable taking your dog to a dog park if they get on well with other dogs as well.

I currently work in a hybrid environment, meaning I can do remote work from home, but on occasion need to be in the office. For me, weekends are great, or during the week also works for pets who can be left alone for 4-6hrs at a time if I need to go into the office.
