Active & Caring Dog Lover

Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of / grown up with dogs my whole life. People come to me and talk about how cats are way more low maintenance than dogs, but I don’t mind, and actually love the high maintenance a dog may typically have, because it shows the affection and love that a dog wants! I’ve also worked as a PCA at Adena hospital and did part time work as a receptionist / counselor at Mares Cares for clients in need of therapy previously, so I have the desire to take care of those in need, such as dogs!!! I treat dogs with the love and respect they deserve, because they want nothing but attention and care! Help me - help you!!!

Will had an instant rapport with my dog. Will has great energy and confidence and he has quickly become one of my dog’s favorite people! I highly recommend him.

I have a fenced yard for 7 of my dogs to play around at. As weird as it sounds, they don’t do so well being taken out in public, because they love being with each at the house, enjoying their camaraderie amongst one another. Obviously feed them when needed. At my other house, I’ll take my 1 dog for runs, hikes, and have water equipped for when he gets tired and needs to catch his second wind! I even have a toy for him that hides treats and tests his cognitive ability to figure out how to find his treats within the toy! Studies show that 15 minutes of this brain stimulation with the toy can be equivalent to 30 minutes of physical activity! Anyways, I’ll endlessly scratch their stomachs and ears, and after taken care of, I’ll leave the house with a smile, while infinite shedded hair is coated on me. Dogs are life, and life is great!

Information William R. would like to know about your pet

Any medical issues the dog may have, and what activities they like to engage in! Also, anything I need to bring for their well-being, in terms of activities! Toys, leashes, etc.

A typical day

Typically where I like to take my dogs to walk is the “Hopewell Mound Trail” which is a 2.3 mile hike! It’s a great place for your dog to enjoy walking through a trail in the woods, and an open field! Water will be in hand in case your dog gets parched! Also, playing fetch is a great activity that I like to do! Other than that, I’m willing to do whatever your dog(s) typically like to do to exert their energy!

Availability

Full time student as a social work major, but classes are all online, so my schedule is pretty lenient! I wake up, do my classes online, see if my dogs need taken care of during the day when my parents are away from home, and that’s basically it! So in conclusion, my schedule is very free, so please contact me!!!
