Let me love your dog-gone dog.

Pet care experience

I'm not a professional pet caresman, this is not my business. I just want to be able to help regular people who want a regular person taking care of their great (but regular) dog. I really want your dog to enjoy their time with me and vice versa, but I want it be as regular and stress free as possible for all involved. If your dog has special food or water to use, that's fine. If you want them to practice their obedience training in the park, sure we can work on that. If your dog loves listening to Chaucer.. I'd probably just read them aloud the news (nothing too extreme I'm not a monster) or The Economist or possibly Watchmen. We all have our limits. I can stay overnight at your home if needed for sitting, but it's not required if you don't require it. I will keep your doggo or gato out of harm's way and won't pour water on them or feed them after midnight. Unless they only eat after midnight I guess.

Highly recommended! He left my place clean and tidy, and even helped around the house. Lola was very comfortable with William. He’s extremely thorough and communicative. A+

Rebooked William for a second time, he’s a absolute legend! I had to extend my work trip and he was extremely accommodating. His communication was very quick and left my unit in immaculate condition. He sent me pictures throughout and took care of my dog as if it was his own. I’d highly highly recommend William! I will definitely book again.

William did a great job taking care of our lab for 4 weeks and he did so even though it was quite challenging since Lupus was just recovering from kennel cough and got a stomach bug soon after. He gave him his cough syrup and called/went to the vet when needed, cooked chicken and rice for him, cleaned up any accidents and kept him company on the couch (Lupus' favorite thing to do). In addition to all that he also send us lots of pictures and kept us updated the entire time. We couldn't have wished for a better sitter, William was awesome!

Easy to work with! Great personality that fit well with our pup. Felt completely comfortable and communicated well and promptly. Would definitely recommend and will be using him in the future.

I will follow your guidelines to a T. I love animals and will take care of them as my own. For housesitting stays, my partner (who also petsits often) and I usually tag team responsibilities if the owner is comfortable with it - extra attention for your furball and gives backup in case anything happens with my schedule or in case life throws a curveball.

Information William F. would like to know about your pet

Do they enjoy Seinfeld? Did they cry when Old Yeller died? Seriously I always like to know what your pet's already built routine looks like, who or what to avoid outdoors, if I should carry them out the building so they don't pee on the hallway floors, etc.

A typical day

Vancouver can be a very walkable cities, and at the same time it isn't. Depending on your location, we can figure out a solution to your dog's thirst for the outdoors. Fetch, running around in park, (mild) dog butt sniffing can all be theirs. Your dog will be scratched in various places which can include: The Head (Top, behind ears, chin) The Back (Close to head, close to butt) Belly (the soft parts) I can just as easily rub all these places too. If you have one of those hair mitts for your long haired pooch, let's get on that too.

I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so can accommodate most requests within a reasonable distance. If house-sitting and prefer us to stay in more to curb separation anxiety, totally doable. Or you want us to stay out to not create that issue that's perfectly fine too.
