I love dogs more than most people!
Pet care experience
We have two friendly dogs who sniff around, so it's dog social here. Also, my wife and I run, hike and bike a lot with our dogs. We live in Pinon Hills, so we are near Salida, but in the country, so we are not near any busy road. If appropriate, dogs can run free up here, with a dog door and immediate access to public lands—though we can close the door if necessary. This is worth discussing so your dog(s) have a great time. Our kids graduated from high school, and we work from home. My Dad was a Veterinarian, so I have known many dogs in my life. My parents live near by, and their goofy Labrador sometimes drops by to say hello.

William was great! We were vacationing in Salida and worry about leaving our dog all day while we skied. We looked on Rover last minute and William was quick to assist! He communicated when he would be there, what our dog did on the walk (sniffing and bathroom wise) and reported giving him lots of scratches! Super happy with our experience, thanks to William!
Bill is dog person through and through. His Dad was a veterinarian and he's had dogs his whole life. The moment you meet him, you'll know you're in great hands. He approaches all dogs with loving care and will quickly befriend your pooch. He's responsible, reliable and knows how to handle just about any pet-related situation. If Bill is watching your dog, you can truly relax and set your worries about Fido aside.
Dogs cared for by Bill are the happiest dogs on the planet. He believes in lots of ear scratching, tummy rubbing, exercise and the best medical care. He and his wife have adopted dogs that no one else wants and turned them in to the town favorites. I cannot recommend Bill enough. You can be confident that your dogs are well cared for by Bill.

Optimally, sweet fun dogs will have a great time with us. The best dog is one who can use the dog door, but won't run away. Most dogs love it here for this reason, we take a hike, so they are tired, then they eat a bone and hang out until we head out again.

Behind our house, local trails etc. We are also happy to take your dog in the car when we run errands or go to the river.
