Initial contact with William was great! Was willing to work with us on a limited budget trying to go visit family out of town! We didn’t have to change our date from the originally just taking care of the cats for 6 days to watching both our dogs and cats for 3 days. Would only need to walk the dogs on evening the following day and evening and then the next morning and we would return. The first day for only the evening care luckily we left home a lot later than originally planned. I message him as discussed to let him know when we left and to let him know where to find the dogs leashes that we left later so the dogs had been recently taken out but to still go walk them at the same scheduled time and to message me with any questions around 4pm. Sent an additional message about 20 minutes later with additional info about treats and cleaning products being there as well if they end up being needed. After 3 hours no response and the care was originally an hour and half before hand. (We have a door bell camera and notifications when the door is opened). Then messaged asking to confirm he was still planning to take care of the dogs this evening. After an additional hour at about 8:30pm I then messaged him hello with again no response. At this point I reached out to Rover support which was amazing! They reached out and gave him an additional hour to respond with again no answer or response back. At this point I luckily found a last minute family friend to come just for that evening to care for the dogs. William then proceeded to reach out at midnight claiming to of fallen asleep and was going to take care of the dogs then.. I then proceeded to let him know the dogs were taken care of and no longer has access to get in to the home. I share this as a heads up for others. I understand this could of been a one time mistake but it’s unfair for me not to share my experience just in case some other family possibly runs into a similar issue and they would of booked elsewhere with a heads up. I hope this is a learning experience but really put us in a hard spot when we were not close to home!

They did an excellent job taking care of our dog. It was our first time leaving him with someone else. They sent us pictures and updates When we asked for them! Recommend this couple to take care of your little dog.
