Pet care experience

Hi! I’m, Will, and I’m thrilled you’ve discovered my profile! I’ve been providing top rated pet care services through Rover for seven years, and I’m currently taking new clients for house sitting/walks/or visits. If you’re searching for a highly reviewed sitter to walk your trio of Great Danes everyday, or stay in your home for a month with your cat, handling their usual routine, you’ve come to the right place! Those are services I can and have provided. I look forward to walking your dog, and eagerly anticipate being judged by your cat. Let’s setup a consultation and go over all your needs and expectations. House sitting is the best way to keep your pet safe and relaxed in their home environment. Rover keeps 20% of what I charge on every booking, in ADDITION to an added service fee they don’t reveal to us. More pricing info below. The needs and well-being of your home and animal family, as well as your peace of mind for the duration of your trip, are of utmost importance. Everyone loves animals, but it requires a certain level of commitment and correspondence, to put a traveling mind at ease. When you book services with me, you get me, not an assortment of random sitters. You’ll feel as if you have a direct line into your pets lives, and your time apart will be slightly more relaxed. Consider me your animal butler.! Highlights: • Red Cross certified in dog/cat first aid/CPR • Lifetime of experience with cats • Experience handling dogs up to 180lbs • Minimum booking requirement (excluding rover fees): House sitting: $500 minimum booking required Initial consultation (meet n greet) for all new clients: $80. Key pickup/drop off: $50 (get a lockbox instead!) No exceptions, please! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments, and I’ve never had any incidents with animals under my supervision. Big, small, blind, 3 legged, I’ve seen it all at this point. I cared for three Great Danes for a six month period. Handling everything from walks to vet appointments.

This was the second time William has sat for us and, just like the first time, he was professional and reliable! There will certainly be a third time.

William is fantastic! He has been consistently walking my dog in rain or shine. He always makes sure she is happy and gets plenty of exercise. I am happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a short or long term dog care situation!

Information William A. would like to know about your pet

What is their meal and bathroom schedule? Do they ever exhibit leash reactivity? Any history of biting anyone/other pets? Are they allowed on the furniture/do they sleep with you? Are they up to date on vet checkup’s and flea/tick treatments? Are they on any meds? Do they have any history of seizures or other notable health complications? How long have they been a member of your family? Do they have any prior experience with a sitter/kennel? How long do they typically get left alone (are you WFH)? What is your typical day. Any other important considerations that may be germane to your pets unique personality and behavior.

A typical day

I’m available to check in on your kitties any hour, or take your pup out for walks around the city, the trails, canal or rock creek, but ideally never off leash or to a public dog park. I will consider making an exception for pets with trackers such as AirTags. Alternatively you can book a private local fenced-in yard using the sniffSpot app, and we can hop in my Prius for an adventure, or I can easily grab a rental jeep. If you personally have a fenced yard, I will provide adequate play time at no additional cost (weather permitting).

For whatever reason, you’ve determined kenneling or pet resorts are not an option, and your friends/family all coincidentally have conflicting schedules. Maybe you heard about the recent flash flooding tragedy at District Dogs daycare. Or perhaps you’d just like a more personal touch, and someone to keep your home lived-in and aired-out. Overnight house sitting is the premium alternative, and the best choice for your pets comfort and safety during your absence. When booking overnight services, you can expect to receive frequent photo/video updates throughout my stay (from my iPhone 14 pro max). Focus on your trip, I’ve got you covered!
