Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my entire life ranging from a loving and energetic golden retriever to a calmer and more diligent german shepherd. I've been working for Rover since 2017, starting in New York before moving here to Nashville in 2021. I'm a local comedian that also edits videos during the day so I have plenty of free time to hang with your pup and give them the attention they need. At some point, and I don't want to brag, but I made it to #1 on the Brooklyn dog sitting charts on Rover AND the iTunes Comedy Charts. It was a great month. I have dog sitting experience that ranges from watching healthy energetic dogs, to dog sitting at apartments for older and sick dogs. I have experience ranging from administering medications, to fostering and raising a puppy for a dog needing a temporary home.

I try and make sure they get as much energy out during the day as they can. With the hotter days of summer that usually means frequent but shorter walks or more play time in your backyard if you have one. I love bringing dogs to Shelby Park if they're okay around other dogs. On walks I always cross the street when I see another dog being walked just to be safe.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or specificities during walks. I do try and avoid other dogs during walks but if I can take them to the dog park, that's always a great way to tire them out and get them some stimulation.
A typical day
They can definitely expect some play time whenever they need it. Depending on the weather I'm always up for a long walk and if the owner is comfortable, I don't mind bringing the dog with me to a brewery or some other adventures.

Availability
I'm currently working as a freelance video editor during the day (and doing comedy at night). I used to tour fairly frequently but at the moment am working on staying here in Nashville. Currently, I'm unable to board because I acquired a new cat but I'm happy to work from home at your place if your dog needs watched or checked on during the day.
