A former chemist, I now work as a rock climbing instructor in the evenings and love to bake bread for my family during the day. My flexible schedule allows me to be the best dog dad I can be to our rescue puppy Baaloo, a boxer-cattle dog mix. We enjoy taking training classes with him at Furgetmenot, long walks at the Shirlington Dog Park, and dog play dates with our neighbors and friends. I have always grown up with and loved dogs, especially pit bulls and rescue puppys. Since we got Baaloo in April of this year, I've really stepped up my dog training knowledge - about to complete our Good Manners program that includes (but not limited to) sit, stay, leave it, and loose-leash walking with positive reinforcement techniques.
