We lost our 13 year old paraplegic golden retriever mix in November 2020. We are not ready to adopt full time but would love to have dogs part time in our home! We lived in a 2nd floor condo with our 80lb golden retriever and I was able to get him outside multiple times a day even with a newborn! I am confident I can tend to your dogs needs. We now live in a 2 story house with a lovely fenced in deck to hang out on. We do not have a fenced in yard but my 2 year old son and I spend tons of time outside and would love to bring your dog with us. Happy to let your dog have free reign of our house or crate them if that’s what they are used to. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time so we will have ample time to love on your dog! Your dog will never be outside in the yard unattended. We do have a deck that is fully fenced in so if approved we can leave them outside there unattended. We do not have any other dogs in our home but if your dog is dog friendly we can set up play dates with neighbor and family dogs

Whitney was very accommodating and communicative while watching our 2 pups!! She sent lots of updates and pictures which assured us they were having fun! Our pups were completely wiped out after spending the day with them so we know they had so much fun!!

Whitney made sure that our pup was taken care of and got a lot of attention. She made sure she got lots of interaction with other dogs around the neighborhood as well. I would definitely recommend for her to watch your pup
Whitney and Thom were amazing with Simi! They communicated with me when necessary and sent a few pictures. They treated her as if she were their own dog, I trusted them completely and will absolutely use them again!

We can’t wait to spend time with your dog but it would be helpful to know a few things prior. Does your dog have any fears? Any favorite things to eat (both for good snacks and to know if I need to make sure he doesn’t steal all the socks). Do they like children? Snuggles? Prefer some space? Any dietary restrictions or allergies? We want to make sure your dog is safe and happy while you are away so the more information the better!
A typical day
Your dog will get at least 2 walks a day around our neighborhood but we are also happy to bring your dog in the car and go explore parks. We know other friendly dogs and can arrange play dates if approved by you. My one year old son loves dogs and can’t wait to spend time with yours. We also have a bike trailer for large dogs (up to at least 100lbs) so we can take your doggy on bike rides if you think it is something they would like.

I am a full time mom so we are home a lot and can spend time with your dog. Even when we do leave we are never gone long.
