Growing up, my husband and myself had experience raising Labs, Boxers, St. Bernards, Dachshunds, Pomeranians, Pitbulls, Miniature Pincers, and a few mixed breeds. Suffice it to say, growing up in the country with dogs around all the time, we learned a lot about how to care for and raise dogs properly. Recently, we brought home a puppy. This was our first time training a dog after having children. To our surprise, raising a Boxer puppy alongside two boys and an old wiener dog has been more fun than frustration and is considered to be one great decision. Our home is also experienced with sitting for others. We have watched dogs in others' homes and brought outside dogs into our home. We are extremely adaptable to dogs and all members of our family love to meet new dogs. The reason I wanted to start dog-sitting was because we love dogs in our home. My husband is obsessed with dogs. Our kids love to spot dogs that are walking on the street. Being around new dogs is a great way to expose our kids to more dogs outside of our own. We believe this is something that can be very beneficial to our family in terms of getting to meet and care for lots of great dogs.
