Pet care experience
I have no bias towards dogs or cats. I love them both and appreciate the individual personalities that they possess. I seek to understand their needs and moods. I've had pets of my own, and though I do not currently, love the spirit and companionship thay bring to their people and those that truly care for them.

Whitney Lyn was so great with our little mini Dachshund!!! She stayed with her in our home while we visited our grandchildren and updated us every day with a picture and note of how Gracie was doing :). Would highly recommend!!!
Our fur babies love having Whitney. She is attentive to both our dogs and us too. She sends updates and pictures-and leaving them with Whitney allows us to relax while we’re gone. We will definitely use her services again!!!
We felt completely comfortable leaving our little dog with Whitney. He was very well taken care of and we received several pictures and updates of how he was doing throughout the day. We will definitely use Whitney again!

It is certainly helpful to know in advance if your pet has special needs. I look to provide them the comfort and stability they need to make them feel perfectly at home while you are away! Specifically, information I would appreciate knowing up front is dietary needs, sleeping arrangements, medications, and physical limitations.
A typical day
I will aim to help your fur baby expend their excess energy by plenty of games and walks! We'll look for adventures to share that will help them explore and discover their environments. Eno River and Umstead State Parks, as well as local neighborhoods, are among the places that we might go, as well as local parks to throw a ball or a frisbee.

Availability
I work full-time for a FQHC (Federally Qualified Healthcare Center), in Raleigh called NeighborHealth Center. My hours a generally consistent, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. I am available evenings and weekends. I am open to holidays as well. I find great purpose and fulfillment in caring for others as well as the furry variety.
