Pet care experience
I've cared for and loved animals all of my 40+ years, and dogs are my passion. We have our own balanced pack of multiple dogs, ranging from 3lbs to 65lbs, and we often have a foster pup or two coming through. I am experienced and comfortable in a wide variety of dog behaviors and personalities, as well as with associated medical issues, administering medications, injections, etc. In my free time, I enjoy training my Aussies in obedience, rally and therapy work, and we do performance events like Fastcat and dock diving. I show AKC conformation with several of my dogs and always leave the show with the best dogs! I am a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule, so please feel free to reach out to me so I can help provide top notch care for your pets while you’re working or away. I look forward to meeting fellow animal lovers and their beloved pets.

Whitney is the best pet sitter! Most important is my 5 golden girls love her. This was my first time using Rover to find a sitter/boarder for my fur baby Mangeaux. I was so nervous, but Whitney made my anxiousness go away quickly! Not even 2 hours after I dropped Mangeaux off, Whitney had sent me text and picture updates! I never had to ask how Mangeaux was doing because she kept me updated the whole weekend. She took amazing care of my baby and I could tell he had an amazing time with her and her family. I will definitely use Whitney again for her services, even if it's just a random day where he can go play with her fur babies! Thank you so much Whitney, you and your family are amazing and I can't express how thankful I am!!

A typical day
My entire day revolves around caring for dogs. We love playing in the fenced in yard, catching frisbees, playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling when the weather is too cold or rainy for outdoor time.

Availability
My weekdays and weekend are generally very flexible. Please feel free to message me to discuss how I might be able to help care for your pet. A quick break down of some services: A drop in visit is 30 minutes, unless longer is requested or the needs and pet count exceed what can adequately accommodated during this time. We can discuss and modify as needed. In home boarding rates in my own home are as posted. If needed, I can provide an insulated, private room for your pets, so they may relax and not be in the mix with our own dogs. Otherwise, they will be in the main living area with us. 🙂 They will be allowed as many potty breaks in a fenced yard as needed and will be loved and cared for while staying with us. Bathing and/or grooming can be done by request. Please let me know how I can make your life easier! Pickup and drop off can also be provided upon request, as well as transportation to and from vet or grooming appointments. Contact me to discuss rates for this.
