Growing up surrounded by rescue dogs kept me happy, sane and compassionate. Many of our rescues were not the most emotionally or phyiscally confident and my family had always stressed the importnace of education and rehabilitation. I truly believe that love and patience can change a dog's (and their human's) ability to trust. I love the outdoors, and love hiking. With two pups of my own, I have grown accustomed to always having a four legged friend by my side. I enjoy keeping dogs active when we're out and about, playing fetch, maybe even going for a long run along the water front or through Forest Park.
