Pet care minutes from Glacier NP!

Pet care experience

I have been around pets all my life and have been pet sitting on and off for many years. I have been doing check-in visits, house sitting, and dog walking here in the valley for almost 2 years and am happy to announce I am now able to offer in-home boarding as well! This is my full time job so I am here 24/7. My fiancé and I own a home with a large fenced yard on 1.25 acres in Hungry Horse. We live a little over 10 minutes from Glacier National Park which means we are in a perfect, convenient location for those looking to drop off their babies before traveling into the park! Do keep in mind that with this proximity, I am often busy in the summer and host multiple pets at once. This is ideal if your pet is friendly with and comfortable around other pets. 😊 Additionally, I require that all pets I host must be fully vaccinated and up to date on all shots to ensure the safety of all pets on site. We have 2 sweet fur boys, Calvin and Mr. Tiny as well as 1 kitty named Puppy. If your pets don’t get along with cats, I am easily able to separate them so let me know if that’s something you’d require and I’d be happy to do so. We have quick and easy access to all sorts of outdoor activities so let me know what your pet(s) would enjoy! I am experienced, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable so I am certain you can count on me for all of your various pet needs. 😊

Whitney was great, it was completely last minute because we did not realize in advance that you were not allowed to have dogs on some of the trails. Luckily, she responded quickly and was able to take Nova early in the morning. It was Nova‘s. First time going to a dog sitter. She did seem nervous at first but was very happy when we picked her up later that afternoon.

Whitney & her fiancé did a great job watching Simba. He enjoyed meeting new friends, playing in their yard, & was well taken care of. We’d definitely use them again, if we are ever in the area & need boarding.

Safety, trust & environment

***With our 1.25 acre property comes a lot of space for your pets to burn energy and get outdoors while you’re away! We spend lots of time outdoors and have a large portion of the yard completely fenced in. With that said, there are several gates and other avenues that overly anxious dogs or gifted athletes may try so PLEASE NO ESCAPE ARTISTS, fence jumpers, gate climbers, etc! This is not only stressful and scary for me as a sitter and business owner but for your pet as well if they were to get out. We have taken every measure possible to ensure the safety and security of our yard so as to not let pets get out but some, if determined enough, may find a way. Gates are around 4 ft tall and fencing is between 5-7 ft tall just for reference. If you know your pet can/will try to escape, please consider other alternatives. I am insured and take my business with your pets very seriously. I am committed to providing a safe, caring, fun environment for your pet while you’re away! ☺️

This is currently my full time job so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My partner is also here in the evenings + weekends and is great with all animals so your pet(s) will never be alone long, if at all. We are willing to walk, run, entertain and love on your babies for a little or as long as needed.
