Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting professionally since June 2017. I’ve developed amazing relationships with my “clients” over the years, who trust (and rely on) me for their various needs. Whether it is a regular or scheduled time, or a last minute request, I pride myself on being dedicated to the quality of care I provide, meeting their pet’s specific needs, and doing my best to be available for any spontaneous pet care needs. I am happy to provide references, just ask! I like to start the conversation talking about what you’re looking for in a pet sitter, both services and personality, and hopefully we find we will be a good fit for each other. * *Though I do have set rates, with established relationships comes more flexibility. I look forward to getting to know your animals and helping you keep giving them all the love they deserve!

I have known Whitney for a while now and have witnessed her fantastic dog skills firsthand. These have included her own dogs, clients dogs, and my own dog. Speaking for myself, there are very few people that I trust to look after my dog, an 85 pound unaltered male blue tick coonhound, and Whitney is my top choice. She is both loving and firm with dogs when needed (emphasis on loving) and manages any situations that may arise exceptionally well. Whitney is a great addition to the rover team and will make every one of her clients exceedingly happy with her care.
I have 3 pups, 10 yo APBT, 4 yo Jack Russell terrier/dachshund mix, and a 1 year old cardigan corgi. I have been asking Whitney to not only dog sit, but also house sit, for over a year now. She has always been on time, always takes the dogs out for longer than asked to do (which is obviously greatly appreciated!!), cleans up after them, sends pictures of their "adventures", and is great at keeping the communication open and very quick! Never have I had a problem with Whitney. She clearly loves dogs, and all 3 of my pups absolutely love her. Whitney is very reliable and organized, and I would recommend Whitney 100%.
Whitney has been a wonderful dog sitter for my dog! She is attentive and makes sure my dog gets love, exercise, and attention. I can go on vacation and know my pup is in good hands. I highly recommend Whitney’s service for your beloved dog.

For example, if they aren’t a fan of other dogs, I will be sure to cross the street/keep a tighter lead. Any and all information helps!
A typical day
I always take time for introductions, giving your dog his space to sniff me out. I try and take your typical route, at least the first time out. I do enjoy mixing up my turns, adding some variety to our loops. I will always engage with a dog on a walk: encouraging them, observing their traits, and matching their pace/energy level. My goal is to make sure our outing is safe, exciting, and has met both your pet’s needs as well as your needs.
