I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life. I’ve been lucky enough to dog-sit for many friends and colleagues since I moved to Kansas City, and I’d be honored to watch over your pet as if they were my own.

Whitney is the best doggie sitter. Our dog clearly loves her and is comfortable in her space. Whitney is affectionate to our fur baby and takes her for tons of walks. She also keeps us posted with photos and videos. Our vacations are wonderful because we don’t worry about our dog while she’s in Whitney’s care. I highly recommend Whitney. Easy communication and just a lovely human.
Very kind, caring, and patient as my dog was more anxious than usual during her stay. Whitney was very responsive and kept me updated on how Ellie was doing. Appreciated her flexibility as well.

I have a large 2-bedroom home with lots of space for dogs to play and many cozy spots for them to nap and cuddle. I also have a large backyard, live in a very walkable neighborhood, and take multiple walks each day that would keep your pet active. But I also spend lots of time reading on the couch which would provide lots of opportunity for cuddles 🥰

It would be great to know your dog’s temperament, dietary needs, activity level/requirements, comfortability with other animals, and any other info you want to share to ensure they have a good stay/walk with me.
A typical day
There is a beautiful park just blocks from my apartment. It even has a fenced-in area where your dog will be able to run free for a bit. When at home, I’m happy to play with your dog in whatever ways they enjoy (tug-of-war, catch, etc). And of course I’ll give them lots of pets and belly rubs and I’m happy to oblige if they enjoy cuddles ?
