Hello! My name is Whitley and your dogs are my priority! Since I was in pre-kindergarten I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. I started working in the kennel of an animal hospital when I was 15 and my love for animals has continued to grow ever since. I now work as a Certified Veterinary Assistant at Animal Medical Center of Mid-America. My experience at both animal hospitals means that I have learned how to properly care for multiple animals at a time in the most professional, ethical, and safest way. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology with a specialization in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I am a "Dogtender" and Bar K in the Grove so I am well trained in dog behavior. I can administer medicine, I am pet CPR and First Aid certified, and I can do basic grooming. I have worked with all kinds of dogs and I don't shy away from large dogs, aggressive dogs, or dogs with special needs. They are family, even if they aren't always cookie-cutter!

Whitley has been sitting for my dog and cat and comes promptly, takes care of everything I ask, and leaves a lovely note for me with pictures and updates on how my animals are doing. My animals are well cared for and happy to have her while I am away.
Whitley was absolutely amazing! She eased my mind, and I felt so comfortable leaving her to take care of our fur babies. She made sure everyone was fed, had water, and went potty. Our dog also takes meds and she made sure those were done too. I loved all the picture updates . I highly recommend her to watch your animals while you’re away. Thank you again!!!

I live in Central West End, close to Forest Park so I can take your dogs for an enriching walk with lots of sights and sounds or a relaxed stroll through the park. I have three small dogs of my own if your pets prefer playmates. With my years of experience and multiple certifications, you can trust that your pets will be in good hands. I will treat your fur babies as family, because they are!
Information Whitley H. would like to know about your pet
I want to know everything about your babies! I need to know their schedules, routines, habits, medicines, and anything else important. I also want to know things like their favorite activities, anything they're scared of, and anything else about their personalities. I will take on any breed, size, temperament, and age. At the time of booking, I will usually set up a Meet and Greet at which point I will give you a packet to fill out with all the animal care I need to know.
A typical day
I am a very active person so your pup will set the pace! If your dog wants friends, I have three pups of my own. In your home, I would love to offer walks or playtime depending on your dogs needs.
