I spent the last seventeen years caring for a breeder dog for Guide Dogs for the Blind. My dog (Floretta) recently passed away, but I'd love to pass my affection on to your doggy too! I also love running! Weather permitting, most days I go for a 3-6 mile run, and would love to have a running buddy with me too. I have been trained in the dog care coursework and training that Guide Dog caretakers are required to pass when accepting responsibility for a Guide Dog breeder. This includes proper leash technique, training technique, and collar technique, amongst other skills. If you are unfamiliar, Guide Dog Breeders are considered the "cream of the crop" of the dogs bred to serve as service dogs for blind and/or disabled persons. Our job as breeder caretakers is to keep them healthy and happy! As a previous dog owner, I have a wide range of experience in dog care, and have managed situations ranging from dog stomach flu to diarrhea, and everything in between.
