Pet care experience
I have taken care of and lived with dogs since I was a kid. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, from dachshunds to a Huskie/Chow mix, and have gotten along with all of them swimmingly. My partner and I own a cat that is very friendly with dogs of all sizes . I am an active person and I'll walk/ run with your dog. I am a part time student pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering so in between studying and classes being around dogs will be very cathartic. My schedule if very flexible excluding Monday and Wednesday mornings. I have a fenced-in dog park in my gated apartment complex which is also completely fenced so no need to worry if your pup slips out. Also I am just a short drive away from a large park. Wes has lived with dogs his whole life and has played an active role in caring for them. He is very loving and patient with animals. When my cat misbehaves, he doesn't get frustrated with her, he calmly corrects her and rewards her for doing the "right" thing. He does this same thing with his dogs at home. I believe his patience with animals and enthusiasm for dogs will make him a great caregiver.

I don't have any breed preferences when dog sitting. The most important thing that I want to know is if the dog has been house-trained or prone to accidents in the house. This isn't a deal breaker for me its just something I would want to be prepared for.
A typical day
I really like the walking paths around Zilker Park, so I would mostly go there to walk or run with your pup while they are in my care. There are a lot of dogs in my complex so a fun trip to the dog park to socialize would definitely on the agenda as well as a lot of fetch.
