Pet care experience
I come from a long line of animal rescuers...my father was always bringing something home that needed care and repair. I have always had dogs and cats of my own. I sit and walk dogs (old and young) of several family members and friends...and realized that it is something I love to do. I have several favorite spots where I like to walk out at Longview Lake and down on the Little Blue...I find it is good for the dogs as it gets them outside and burns off much of their energy and good for me as I enjoy the interaction with the animals and the environment. I am newly retired and thought this an opportune time to start a new endeavor using my free time for good use.

Wes takes care of his dogs, and has been responsible for other peoples dogs, and has always shown to be caring and conscientious of their well being. All the dogs seem to interact well with Wes. I think they know he cares a great deal for them.
Bruce is my first pet ever, I’ve never had a pet or even know how to handle a dog. But Wesley prepared me and also showed me all about dealing with a dog. He is really a dog person, every time he sees a dog or even a cat, his eyes light up. He’s just a dog person, he loves dogs so much that most of us call him a dog whisperer. He walks Bruce and every other dog in his care daily. He’s more than capable to handle any dog
One thing that is especially exemplary about Wesley's pet handling qualities is his unique, (almost magical) disciplinary skills. Through his gentle understanding manner, animals willingly listen and obey his commands just to please him and get his approval. The only downside of having him as your handler is your pets look of disappointment when they see it is you at the door and not Wesley!?

A typical day
I live in a house with a huge fenced backyard. There is plenty of room to run and wrestle about and there is a doggy door for small dogs to access my rooms downstairs. I have several lovely spots where I like to walk out at Longview Lake and down on the Little Blue River.
