Hello! My name is Wes. I have always enjoyed caring for, and being around dogs, which in a nutshell is why I would like to be a dog-sitter. I was raised around pups my entire life, predominately labs, but I have had several types in recent years. Before moving to Florida, I had a Chow/Lab mix, and more recently had a Terrier/Lab mix. I don't own pets anymore which is another reason I am getting involved with Rover. I work in healthcare, as a nurse, and actually started on Rover while I was in nursing school. I work at the hospital during the week, but have a fairly regular schedule (8-10 hour days, always home at night, and can most often get home during lunch). In my care, your dog can expect not just a sitter, but a companion & friend. I am happy to bring their favorite toys to keep them happy. I also love taking dogs on walks or runs with me through my neighborhood. There are also several dog friendly parks in my community where I am happy to bring them.
