Pet care experience
I have had dogs most of my life. I love to give attention, love and exercise to dogs I have and those I dog sit. I have experience with staying at people's homes, or having the dogs come to my home. I have fostered and adopted dogs and have experience with all kinds of personalities and sizes. I am home almost all the time and work out of my home except for periods of a few hours some days. I have a small fenced yard and live close to dog parks, Ventura College and I go to the beach frequently. Your friend will get plenty of exercise. I will make your dog feel loved and special whether I am staying at your house, he/she at mine, dog walking or visiting. You can be assured your dog will be taken good care of in a loving atmosphere.

Wendy was amazing with Mimi. She provided a loving environment for our little furry friend while we were dealing with some medical difficulties. Her 2 dogs were great companions to Mimi during her stay. Highly recommended, great communication and a true pleasure to work with. Wendy is now our go to sitter and boarder for Mimi.
Wendy was great! I felt very comfortable with her. She would send picture updates of our dog while we were away, which was very comforting. They went to dog parks and grassy areas, so it seemed like our dog got a lot of exercise. I will definitely call her again if we need her!
Wendy was great communicating what was happening with my cats and showed a lot of affection for them. I would highly recommend her.

I would like to know if the dog ever gets aggressive. If he/she is fearful of certain situations, dogs or people. Do they get along with other dogs. Are they "chewers", and if so, do you have a crate you can bring that they feel comfortable in, in case I need to leave for a while. I'd like to know any personality quirks the dog may have. What the diet is and how often to feed him/her. I would like you to know, that just as a commercial dog boarding facility or kennel does, I charge more if your pet is dropped off before 11:00 and if he/she is picked up after 2:00. The charges in those cases are $50 instead of $35.
A typical day
I live near Ventura College and take dogs there, or else the dog park at Camino Real, or many times to the beach. If you are comfortable, I can let them off leash and if they like to chase a ball, I'll play with them. At my place I give them love, petting, toy playing time if they are not too big. I have 2 friendly small dogs who enjoy other dogs. Dogs are allowed on my furniture. I listen to your needs and how you want them interacted with, and follow that.
