Pet care experience
NOTE- recently moved from house to 5th floor small density condo I have decades of experience as an owner, sitter and foster volunteer for 2 local rescues in New York (see @4animalsonly). Our family has provided a loving experienced foster home for many dogs (and cats) of different sizes, ages, breeds and personalities and we have always been on hand to help out family and friends for dog-sitting needs.

Wendy was absolutely incredible with our dog!!! She sent me a ton of photos and videos of our little girl having the time of her life! Wendy and her entire family were loving, attentive, and playful! Her backyard is a dog’s dream! I am so delighted we now have an incredible sitter for our dog when we have to leave for the day.
Wendy and Meika were the most gracious and fun hosts for our two-year old doodle! Wendy sent tons of content, and was super communicative. Hope to have Toddy stay with them again.
Wendy was such an amazing sitter for our doggo! She was so kind, compassionate, and gracious in terms of arranging everything and so obviously loved and cared for our pup when they were together. I have a 3 legged 43lb sweet female dog who loves other dogs (and cats). She loves to play but sill adjust to your dog's energy level very quickly. I generally take in only one dog at a time so i can provide min 2 long walks and give them special attention while they are away from you! We treat the pets like family and ensure have what they need to feel safe, secure and happy! We are lucky enough to be able to provide a nice large pet-safe clean home where they can roam free. I can set aside a dedicated large space for any shy kittens/cats away from any other pets.

Please let me know if your dog is nervous or anxious so we can make adjustments for meet and greet. My dog loves to meet dogs but her initial excitement can be overwhelming for some nervous dogs. Since dogs are allowed on beds and couches and we are a no shoes household please let me know whether your dog is NOT ok with having his/her paws wiped upon entering the house. All public holidays will be considered holidays and the holiday rate will be charged including Jan 14 to Jan 16. Additional charges will apply for overnight stays where pick up time and drop off time do not align. To ensure everyone's health I only board pets that are fixed, vaccinated and are on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
A typical day
Your pup can play with mine in a pet friendly clean home. My dog loves playing with the many enrichment toys that she would love to share (snuffle mats, kongs, treat balls, hide and seek toys, puzzles etc). We can work on some basic training, do some clicker training or if your dog likes it as much as mine, we can learn some new tricks! On downtime, we have large windows or a balcony where your pup can watch "doggie TV" or if they prefer they can watch human TV with me snuggled on the couch. Since my dog likes to be sleep in her crate at night, it leaves plenty of room on our human beds if your dog so desires. We go on a minimum 2 walks a day after breakfast and dinner For your kittie we have wand toys, tunnels, and a dedicated space either separated by doors or gates, as well as, many escape routes (Jackson cat trainer inspired) depending on your cats social needs.

Since I'm no longer working and have only one pet at home, my schedule is extremely flexible. I can stay with your pet 24/7 and postpone any errands.
