A Loving Getaway on a Farm
Pet care experience
At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all, and have one of each right now who are well behaved and make great playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us.

Wendy made me feel 100% comfortable leaving our 12-year old long-haired dachshund with her in her lovely, animal friendly home. She and her husband have 2 small, sweet dogs of their own and Utley felt at home. They went outside for walks and Wendy sent pictures of Utley snuggling at her side or in his bed next to her pups. When we went to visit before our stay, Utley was eager to go inside her home and never looked back (always a good sign!). When my husband went to pick him up, Wendy gave us feedback that made it clear she paid close attention to him even when he awoke pre-dawn the first couple of nights. 💖😊

Wendy and Dean provided a warm, loving and safe environment for our precious, Fiona. Prior to Fiona’s stay at the farm, Fiona had not been separated from my husband or me. We were apprehensive about leaving Fiona, during our 11 day, out of the country trip. Although, net service was rarely available, Wendy, frequently updated us with photos of Fiona. My husband and I were relieved and appreciative of the care Fiona, received from Wendy and Dean. In the future we will not hesitate to schedule Fiona’s, stay with Wendy and Dean.
Wendy was amazing and my boy Skip loved being with her and her husband Dean on their farm. I received cute pictures and updates for which made my out of town trip so relaxing and stress free. I was very thankful I found good people that loves dogs and takes care of them as they do their own.

We have a fenced yard. We back up to mikes of hiking trails for walks and runs always on leash. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.
