For over 10 years Wendy has been caring for our cat Sophie whenever we've gone away. Wendy goes far beyond the usual cat sitter. In addition to the usual feeding, providing fresh water, keeping the litter box clean, Wendy spends quality time with Sophie - talking, playing, scratching and cuddling. When we return home there is always a note with the time of each visit and a brief report on Sophie's mood, activities and engagement. On the occasions that Sophie has required medication, Wendy is qualified and experienced given her background working at a local veterinary hospital. Occasionally we've even received reassuring photos of Sophie content and sleeping on her favorite chair! We feel entirely confident that Sophie is well cared for in our absence. Our dogs have spent many happy nights with Wendy and her family, and in fact begin to bark their heads off with joy as we pull up into their driveway. She is also great at giving them long walks, which as large dogs they need. I would thoroughly recommend her for the care of dogs.
