I don't even know where to start. This assignment would have been a challenge for Cesar Millan. We have Two Aussies under the age of two. They are littermates and both male. They are super reactive and very high energy. They don't like other dogs and basically got kicked out of doggie daycare. One is on Prozac. The other was being medicated and monitored for a bladder infection when we left. They are house dogs but also accustomed to running our three acres without fences or leashes. We live in a very isolated area in the Croatan. There are bear, boar, coyotes, and bobcats right in our backyard. It's also deer season so shotgun fire and hunting dogs are close on a regular basis. If that wasn't enough, our home is a disaster. The water heater blew recently and we are in the process of ripping out and replacing the flooring from the flood. None of this intimidated Wendie. She came right into our mess with a level of professionalism and compassion you could never measure. She sent multiple photos and updates daily and we were actually able to relax a little while we were away. Her daughter, Jenny, knew our dogs are comforted by music and played guitar for them every night until they calmed down. They were so kind and loving to our dogs and to us while we were away. I never thought we could leave them safely. I wouldn't hesitate to leave our dogs and our home in the care of Wendie ever again. Our expectations were exceeded in every possible way. First timer here! Normally, we take both our dogs EVERYWHERE, so I was a little hesitant leaving them for the weekend. Thankfully, I had such a great experience with having Wendi watch over my two big babies! I cannot fully express enough how relieved I was after our meet and greet. My dogs were the biggest Wendi has sat for and she knocked it out of the park! Plenty of pictures and communication throughout the weekend kept me confidant that my dogs behaved and we're easy to care for. I will be a repeat customer in the future. Thank you so much!
